Grandmother Morgan:)

My dad's mom - my wonderful 91 yr old grandmother (sorry I hope it's okay that I just gave away your age:)
What a beautiful woman you are.... you have taught me so much by your example! Thank you Grandmother for having a strong faith in God and not being afraid to share it. Thank you for always being kind -nonjudgemental (not sure that's a word but you know what I mean). Thank you for welcoming and showing such love and attention to all who enter your home. I love sitting in your living room listening to the stories that you tell and the wisdom that you have to offer. I know that sometimes you don't feel so great but thank you for always having a smile on your face - positive and uplifting words and always a warm embrace. Thank you for all the many meals that you have prepared and for all the crafts that you have shared - Thank you for patiently teaching me how to knit and to crochet when I was a young mother. Thank you for raising your son to be such a wonderful and loving father. Thank you for being you!!!
I love you.....

So nice to be loved!!

Whenever I open my camera bag I see this sweet gift placed inside by a precious little two year-old who wanted his Nana to be sure and have a snack in case she she gets hungry. As you can see - the package is unopened and smashed a bit by my camera - I just can't bring myself to eat those fruit snacks - seeing them there always brings such a warm feeling to my heart and a smile on my face. You never know when they might come in handy - I could get lost in Africa while doing a photo shoot for National Geographic because a big rabied lion chased me into the bush and these fruit snacks will be the only reason I survive.....Okay - maybe that's stretching things a bit-but you never know - right??
Thanks Logan:) Nana loves you too:)

Once upon a time.....

Once upon a time there was a blue ring pop......

And then along came a little boy named Jackson who ate the blue ring pop and his lips turned blue!!!

And his tongue turned blue!! Oh no! What will he do?

But Jackson didn't care that the blue ring pop turned his lips blue and his tongue blue....He just watched more cartoons at Nana's house.

The End.

Flag Football Fun!

I can say without a doubt - I have spent more time than I ever dreamed at sports events! With 4 athletic and active kids I did my share of hauling them and their friends to games or to and from practices- taking care of snacks - making sure uniforms are cleaned and ready - making sure cleats are just the right size so the toes don't get smooshed - the basketball shoes have plenty of support for the ankle and foot - last minute mad hunts for baseball gl0ves - soccer socks or volleyball kneepads often sent me over the edge! That part of my life is over - I have some good memories and some that I would just rather forget....like the times that my kids have been hurt during their games or practice such as: concussions - split open lower gut (yeah that was a first and last)- and not to mention the hyperextended knee and the broken bone or two! I can say that I would not go back given the chance - I like where I am right now - It was stressful and fun but exhausting!!! Now watching the grandkids play? - that's where it is! No hassles - no worry (except the possibly getting hurt worry) no rushing - just go and take a few pictures - give a few high fives and smile because you know you're not going to have to wash that uniform!

This is Triston getting ready for the play............
Look at the speed and concentration!!!!

Yes he is awesome! - he got the flag and then went on to get a few more! It looks like it's going to be a busy life for mom!!

Pumpkin Farm - Corn Maze and 2 year olds:)

I went with my daughter - her two little ones and my daughter-in-law and her two little ones to a pumpkin farm last week. I thought I would share a few kodak moments. The two year olds get so excited about the smallest of things and have such a fun time together....
This is Reese and Logan inside of the corn teepee - so excited to just be there!! This is just a mili-second before Logan playfully gave my camera a little love smack...(Don't get on to him Thomas - he was just so happy!!)

Running around the pumpkins..............

At the top of the pipe slide that was in the barn.....so coooool.......

Macy and Logan right before they came down....Don't worry Macy I didn't post your graceful landing:)

This was their first time looking down and I think Josie looks the most worried!! A few moments after this was snapped Danielle set the boys up at the top one at a time and sent them down even though they resisted ever so slightly........they went down one more time each but then were done........

Camden is not happy and Josie is confused as to why not!!

These were our guides through the corn maze............

Logan and Reese took turns deciding which way we should turn.........

No problems taking the lead here....they were so confident that they could get us out...........

And so they did................

I love fall with all the colors - all the pumpkins - the decorations - the cooler weather! - the smells - and all the fun things you can do like go to the pumpkin farm with some very cool kidos.............

Eyes........

I can't speak for this big beautiful animal with the big eyes but sometimes I think it sounds appealing to just be a horse......eat all day (sometimes I do that anyway)......lay in the sun when you feel like it......have someone give a bath a few times a year (okay that may be a bit weird!)........have your hair brushed and just to be free of worry.....

My eyes see the hedges that need to be trimmed.....

Wonder why I just can't seem to find time???

I see the black - eyed - Susan's that need to be cut back.....

Just can seem to get to them.......

The rose bush that needs to be trimmed and watered......

Is there a hidden message in these photos? Oh well, wouldn't trade the work that we've been up to lately for anything in the world - it has been an eyeopening and such an enlightening experience....life changing for sure.....only a little more that 3 weeks left! I know that it is not in our hands as to the future outcome....Travis is working really hard and so is his sweet wife....Only the Lord knows what is best!
