Babies First Christmas.

I know it's not Christmas yet but Josie got a taste of her first candy cane. We had a great Thanksgiving weekend with lots of food - two year olds having a couple of knock down drag outs - laughing - napping - and some picture snapping - and even some good news - Michael is coming home:) We've sure missed that little booger.....
Her mama said I could give her the candy cane under one condition - that "I" give her a bath - no problem - although she is quite the splasher!!
Check out that sweet bottom tooth!!

Christmas shopping has begun!!!

This is one of my favorite reasons why I love the internet! No more running around to different stores trying to find the gifts that I want to buy for the grandkids......I just ask for a list from the parents (still waitin for yours Jenn:) and go to my fave site - Amazon - and with a few clicks of the button - done! This is a really cool little toy that we got for our newest grandbaby called a "Sing-a-ma-jig" (the toy not the baby). We had to play with it last night and test it out of course. I've even got one on order for our granddaughter - a purple one!

They are strong and confident that they could take on anyone or anything!!

"BANG! POW! WHACK!" Including other superheroes!!

They speak a superhero secret language....

And they make the superheroes dad soooo proud!!!

He won!

This is old news as of last week but since I'm not on facebook anymore I just want to blog and say how very proud I am of Travis and his recent accomplishment. He worked so hard and is such a good example of how hard work pays off. Knocking on doors - kissing babies - meeting and talking to many - did I say many people!! Always with a smile on his face and a genuine interest in what others had to say to him - and he heard many concerns while on the campaign trail!! Good job Travis on just being who you are - honest -loving - kind - energetic and a joy to be around!! I know that you will do a great job and this county will be a better place with you and your family in it!!
I love you:)

Halloween at the park:)

We went to New Harmony State Park this year to trick-or-treat with the kids and they had a lot of fun - it is a pretty big deal - lots and lots of campers set up some pretty elaborate displays of scariness and fun - lots of candy and we met some scary creatures along the way!!

Here is Josie the kitty cat - Woody and his mom and dad - not too excited about getting his picture taken - I think he was saying something like "There's a snake in my boot!"

Buzz light year was not interested in posing for long either - he needed to go to "infinity and beyond!" Also there is an adorable little pumpkin in the stroller snoozing away:)

The ghost - the scarecrow and the army man raked in some yummy candy!

This guy had me pretty freaked out - He looked a lot scarier when you saw him in person!

And a friend brought a long a girlfriend - sorry Dee couldn't resist!! She's a beaut!

This thing here should be outlawed!! It was remote control and as Danielle was walking by it the guy with the controller made it move and Danielle screamed!!

The best part of the day was that we got to meet Lady GaGa!!! She is so nice and friendly and nothing like I expected her to be!
We couldn't have asked for better weather or better company....
It was a great Halloweenie day!!

Grandmother Morgan:)

My dad's mom - my wonderful 91 yr old grandmother (sorry I hope it's okay that I just gave away your age:)
What a beautiful woman you are.... you have taught me so much by your example! Thank you Grandmother for having a strong faith in God and not being afraid to share it. Thank you for always being kind -nonjudgemental (not sure that's a word but you know what I mean). Thank you for welcoming and showing such love and attention to all who enter your home. I love sitting in your living room listening to the stories that you tell and the wisdom that you have to offer. I know that sometimes you don't feel so great but thank you for always having a smile on your face - positive and uplifting words and always a warm embrace. Thank you for all the many meals that you have prepared and for all the crafts that you have shared - Thank you for patiently teaching me how to knit and to crochet when I was a young mother. Thank you for raising your son to be such a wonderful and loving father. Thank you for being you!!!
I love you.....

So nice to be loved!!

Whenever I open my camera bag I see this sweet gift placed inside by a precious little two year-old who wanted his Nana to be sure and have a snack in case she she gets hungry. As you can see - the package is unopened and smashed a bit by my camera - I just can't bring myself to eat those fruit snacks - seeing them there always brings such a warm feeling to my heart and a smile on my face. You never know when they might come in handy - I could get lost in Africa while doing a photo shoot for National Geographic because a big rabied lion chased me into the bush and these fruit snacks will be the only reason I survive.....Okay - maybe that's stretching things a bit-but you never know - right??
Thanks Logan:) Nana loves you too:)
